Superstar David Beckham, whose mental agility has been questioned before in the media, has said his six-year-old son's maths homework leaves him baffled.

"Their homework is so hard these days," Beckham, 30, said in an interview with the Mail on Sunday. "It's totally done differently to what I was teached when I was at school, and you know I was like 'Oh my God, I can't do this'."

Wow! And clearly he doesn't speak English. Check out that sentence: "it's totally different to what I was teached.." What an idiot. Thank goodness he is IN-FRONT-OF-MY-MOTHER hot. Normally I'd turn up my nose at a man who couldn't do the math of a 6-year old. But after a millisecond of deliberation (photo deliberation after the jump) I've concluded that Becks really doesn't need too many math skills to do what I need him to do.

Sasha Cohen Chokes Again

Sasha Cohen failed, once again, to live up to expectations.

There was more heartbreak for Cohen as the diminuative skater once again had to settle for silver.

She has finished runner-up at the past two world championships behind Arakawa and Slutskaya.

Looking terrified as she took to the ice the 21-year-old gave disappointing performance to Nino Rota's "Romeo and Juliet."

She fell on her opening triple lutz, followed it by touching down on her second jump a triple flip.

She recovered to land five triples including a triple-triple combination, but it was not enough.

I was crushed, but I knew it was too much to hope for. You could tell from the moment she stepped on to the ice that she did not believe it was going to happen tonight. The fire in her eyes from Tuesday night was gone. She did, however, pull it together after the two falls. The rest of her performance was magical which make the falls all that more disappointing.

Arakawa skated after Cohen and delivered a sufficient, yet beautiful routine. Slutskaya had one big fall, but still lost Silver to Sasha based on the other technical and artistic merits. That's what happens when all you have to offer are jumps and you miss one.

I'm not sure if Sasha will be around in 4 years. I sure hope so.

Work It Out!: Sasha Cohen

I was over Michelle Kwan...what 4 years ago. I mean ovah! Her hype was all anyone could stand. Thank goodness she realized she couldn't land any difficult jumps. But, Sasha Cohen is a walking stick of dynamite, folks. When she is on there is probably no one better. Even better than the reining favorite SLUTSkaya (speaking of over the hill and speaking of someone who needs a name change).

Anywho. Miss Sash turned it out tonight in the short program:

Sassy Sasha Cohen saved the best for last. And boy was it good. With U.S. flags waving and chants of "USA! USA!" rocking the arena, the U.S. champion dazzled the judges with a sensational short program Tuesday night and slipped past world champion Irina Slutskaya of Russia by a slim .03 points.

Cohen and Slutskaya, the 2002 Olympic silver medalist, have been in contention before. All they have to do is recall Salt Lake City, where, skating with the title within reach, both stumbled enough for Sarah Hughes to take the gold.

Go Sasha!

Olympics: Ted Ligety

His nickname is Ligety-Split. And his rise from ski-racing obscurity to slalom's highest ranks has been fittingly quick. This year, in just his second full season on the circuit, the 21-year-old from Park City, Utah, earned his first trip to the podium: a third-place finish in the slalom at Beaver Creek. He followed that by finishing third in Slovenia and second in Adelboden, Switzerland. The impressive results helped earn him a No. 2 world slalom ranking. The key to his success, Ligety says: attack, don't think. "The course that suits me best is the Kitzbuhel slalom" in Austria, he says. "The hill is constantly attacking you; you're forced to just grit your teeth and fight back. You can't think about skiing technically well, but just [about] throwing your body down the hill." His next plunge? Sestriere, where the Olympic slalom will be held.

Bravo's Inside the Actors Studio will feature a two-hour interview with Liza Minnelli during Super Bowl Sunday, the channel announced Wednesday. It released excerpts from the interview with James Lipton, which include several comments about her relationship with her mother, Judy Garland. "It was a responsibility," she remarks at one point about caring for a mother besieged by demons "I didn't become a kid until I was in my 30s. She would always say, 'What would I do without you?'" Later: "When I went on to that stage, I was with Judy Garland. My mother was no where in sight."
