Brangelina's New Normandy Pad

Seems that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are setting up shop in Normandy (Western France). They just purchased Chateau Gabriel, formerly owned by Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Berge.  The 850 square (cozy huh?), 9 bedroom abode is situated inside a enormous park in the town of Deauville along the Normandy coast.

Chateau Gabriel boasts such delishes as exotic garden, Japanese garden of stones, and a traditional well-manicured park.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's new house is surrounded by woods and overlooks the sea. Normandy is a very picturesque area of France famous for its rich, rolling countryside and orchards for apples. The dairy produce of the region is renowned: its cheeses are world famous and include Camembert, Livarot, Pont l'Evêque, Brillat-Savarin, Neufchâtel, and Boursin.

Brangelina Wedding Will Not Happen

Okay, the media frenzy over the potential Brangelina wedding is more than a little strange. I guess I understand that they do it because people buy the magazine when they talk about it, but is it really necessary to send correspondents to Lake Como, as Us Weekly has claimed, to sit around watching paint dry:

All of the hotels around Lake Como still have plenty of rooms available, and no famous guests have checked in. Fences have gone up around Clooney’s estate but probably due to renovations that are being done. The place is muddy and messy and doesn’t look like it’s about to host a wedding (no caterers, etc.) Usually, when he’s due into town, there are staff getting the mansion ready, changing flowers, gardening, and opening shutters, but this has not happened.

So, nothing is going on. I'd venture to guess that one of two things is true: 1. They are already married or 2. They will not be getting married. On the one hand I know that Angie is a passionate woman and she used to believe in marriage very strongly (she has said publicly how desperate she was to marry Billy Bob Thornton). If she was madly in love with someone, she wanted to get married. On the other hand I see how much she has changed since she brought Maddox in to her life and I'm hopeful that she has learned a few lessons the institution. Hollywood marriages are almost always jinxed. The few relationships that have lasted are with people who aren't actually married (Susan Sarandon & Tim Robbins, Goldie Hawn & Kurt Russell, Oprah & Steadman). Plus Brad just got out of his marriage to that tv chick (Rachel, right?). So, I am hopeful that at the very least they will wait a few years before taking the plunge.

But, then I sit back and think and truly grasp how utterly shocking it is to see Angie pregnant. All bets are truly off. A jaw-dropping WOW!

Punk-Bitch Michael Douglas Swings for Team Maniston

From the "who asked you anyway" category, over-the-hill-has-been-married-to-cow-half-his-age "actor" Michael Douglas comments on Brangelina:

"I don't know about Brad Pitt, leaving that beautiful wife to go hold orphans for Angelina," Douglas says. "I mean, how long is that going to last?

Whoa, big fella. I'm not sure to be more offended that he refers to Aniston as "that beautiful wife" (as if Angie is chopped liver) or that he refers to Maddox and Zahara as "orphans"? What an ass. Yo, Douglas! Your wife is a fat cow who hocks shitty cell phone service for T-Mobile. How many times have you been married jackass? How many fugly ass children do you have? Have you a self-less bone in your pathetic, flabby body? Tell me? How much plastic surgery has your wife had, btw? do you guys bond over botox injections?

And, how many well adjusted, self-respecting men do you know who actually have plastic surgery? I thought that was a chick thing. Tragic!

Jen Aniston Doesn't Want Your Stinkin' Pity

Jennifer Aniston knows people feel sorry for her, and she hates it. "It makes my skin crawl," Aniston tells the April issue of Vogue, due on newsstands in New York and L.A. on Tuesday and nationwide on March 21.

"Don't make me your victim," she says. "I'm so tired of being part of this sick, twisted Bermuda Triangle."

Hey, you don't have to tell me more than once. You looked like shit at the Oscars. That was your moment to shine and you failed miserably. Blah, blah, blah all the way. All of your movies suck. You are over paid. Pretty soon people are gonna catch on. You are a tv star. You need to find yourself a nice little tv gig and be happy. Brangelina is the best thing to happen to you. If it were not for Brangelina no one would be talking about you. In fact, you probably wouldn't have that little Vogue interview I'm referencing right now. But, I truly hope people take you at your word and stop having pity for you. Then, maybe, you will go away.

Aha! The Real Reason Brad Pitt & Jennifer Aniston Broke Up

I think I figured out why Brad & Jen didn't work out and would have eventually failed regardless of Angie. First of all, you can all believe Angie when she says that she would never hook up with a married man. Of all the 10s of celebrities I've known/know Angie is the ONLY who never lied to the press. Most of the crap that comes out of celebrity mouth's is bogus. But, not Angie. What you see is what you get with her. (similarly you can you believe her when she says that she and Brad will not marry anytime soon) So, there must be some other reason for the breakup. Follow me for a second.

Remember when we discussed how Brad's outward physical appearance morphs to match/compliment that of the women he dates? Well, that was only partly a joke. While it is probably normal to adjust a little bit when dating anyone Brad is a bit extreme. I'm convinced he is a follower. It makes since when you consider his overall 'good guy' persona and his strong desire for the security of a big family with kids.

Add to that Jen Aniston twisting herself in to knots to keep up with Vince Vaughn.

Sources say that Jen is "trying to hard to please" her beau, Vince Vaughn, by trying to keep up with his hard partying habits.
Recently it was reported that a few of Aniston's pals "feel she's trying too hard to please her hard-partying boyfriend." One friend allegedly said, "She's changed since she's been with Vince."

So, no surprise here, Jen is a big 'ol follower as well. What happens when you put two followers together? Big old glob of nothingness. Boring directionless, nothingness. With the two of them looking for direction from one another it was bound to fail. Jen was either gonna find a strong man to give it to her good or Brad was gonna be inspired by a strong woman who knew exactly what she wanted.

Enter my girl, Angelina Jolie. She is gorgeous, talented and a force of nature. It can't be held against any man or woman who becomes swept up in unusual power. Brad was especially susceptible given his natural need for leadership. I only hope that he is interesting enough to hold Angie's attention. Personally, I doubt it, but I am holding out hope that Angie has calmed down enough to allow herself to be happy for a long while.

Finally! Jennifer Aniston Seeks Professional Help

Brad Pitt took time off his whirlwind European vacation with lover Angelina Jolie to phone ex-wife Jennifer Aniston on February 11th to wish her a happy birthday. But a published report says Jen couldn't take the call.

The American beauty has been driven into therapy by Brad and Angelina In Touch will report in this week's issue.

The report details that she has gone into therapy "at least twice a week" to cope with being left behind, an insider tells the magazine.

It's about time! I hope that therapist is asking her why her career is more important than having a family. And its been over a year since Brad dumped her, right? Shouldn't she be a little further along in the 'moving on' department. Well, maybe its harder to move on when the hottest man on the planet dumps you for the hottest woman on the planet.
